Well, contrary to anything we saw in Alaska, there is actually a load of snow falling! As in, we're snowed in. I'd say it snowed over a foot today. The roads are terrible. The house feels like its own igloo; needless to say, I'm not going anywhere today. Mom and I spent the afternoon baking, and then I napped to sleep off this terrible head cold I'm coming down with. The semester is officially done after tomorrow afternoon's performance exam. Our professors are taking us Alaska students out for a dinner, so I'm excited for that. Overall it's STILL an adjustment to being back in Minnesota. I don't really know if this feeling of maladjustment syndrome will ever go away. I still feel that life is very complex here. There are so many options, it's overwhelming. There is daylight and fresh food! I still miss the wonderful people I was able to meet in Alaska. I miss having such meaningful experiences everyday. Sure, I'll travel in the future, but I don't think I'll ever have the chance to gain experience like I did in Alaska. It's been an awful season of loss in the past couple of months, but I know God is continuing to light my path.
